Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July holiday last week. Enjoyed our annual breakfast meal at Aunt Georgie’s. My sister and brother-in-law John were involved in a car acdident. Thank God they are doing much better. I want to thank everyone for their prayers.

I hope everyone’s summer is off to a great start. I have had family and friends from out of town visiting this week. I enjoyed Bethany and Nixie from Col, and Cara from Atlanta and Courtney and Nate from Dallas. I love these people dearly.

One year ago today a life long dream came true! I did my first poetry readng at the Jackson County Library. In the past year I had several opportunities to speak to different groups including a short story reading at the library in March.
With the help of my wonderful team I have a chap/book which I am selling for $5.00. I plan to have another chap/book in the near future.

The purpose of my business Rolling into the future, is to encourage those who live with disabilities, their families, and those who work with us, as well as the general public that we want a life of our choosing such like anyone else.

May has been a busy month for me all ready. On May 9th was honored to be asked to read my poem Look at me for the Occupational

Thrapy Assistant Pinning Ceremony at Southwestern Community College.
May 15th I had the opportunity to speak to parents and staff at the Famliy Resource Center. I enjoyed meeting with them.
